Memory Channels on JT-220 In general radios do not care if you leave blank memory channels. The radio will skip over a blank channel when turning through them. This makes it possible to organize your work on the spreadsheet of the programmer by skipping channels (lines) between groups.

This is NOT true in the JT-220 radio. If you skip channels (lines), the radio displays the channel with the "M" flashing and the details of the VFO channel. This will be the case for every memory channel that is not programmed (1-99). Remember, all the channels from the last that you program through Channel 99 will appear in this way on the radio.

Your best bet on this radio is to program the channels sequentially.
