KG-UV5D Radio Programming Software
The KG-UV5D software allows you to program memory channels and menu settings of the radio. All the features of the radio are laid out in an easy to use computer interface. Defaults for memory channels are completed automatically. Other options are arranged by function so you don't miss something when setting up a new feature. The software supports both the 2M/440MHz and the 2M/6M versions of the handheld. Simply do Communications | Get data from radio before creating your first file to let the program know which radio it's addressing and to set the frequency ranges. The program defaults for a 2M/440MHz radio. You can enter 6M frequencies (and no 440MHz) only after you complete Communications | Get data from radio from the 2M/6M radio.
