IC-7300 Repeater Operations

Last Updated: 04/26/2016
The IC-7300 will work repeaters across the bands. As we all know, repeater operations use a transmit and receive frequency. Setup for these gets a little complicated when you have only one offset frequency for the HF bands and another one for 6 meters.

The WCS-7300 programmer will set the radio to split mode so it will properly transmit and receive as needed for repeater operations. You will see the frequency change on the face of the radio when you key the mic on that memory channel.

Simply enter the receive and transmit frequencies for the repeater. Set operating mode to FM and tones as needed. The programmer will do the rest so the radio functions as you expect once programmed.
