Wow, works perfectly. August 12, 2019

Having gone the cheap and frustrating route a few years ago with inexpensive Chinese knock-off's, I was so happy when I tested out the new cable with my Yaesu FT8900 last night.  Worked perfectly, and without a doubt this was a purchase I should have made several years ago.

Unexpectedly outstanding customer service April 10, 2019
Reviewer: Ted Cowan from Midvale, UT United States
I recently called RT Systems to report that my VX5R cable that I purchased 18 months ago but never used until recently, was timing out when reading the VX5R.  Without hesitation, the technician immediately requested that I email my mailing address and a picture of the cable.  They would send me a replacement, free of charge.  I was to return the old cable in the box provided and it will include a return shipping label.

Wow.

I admit that I felt that RT Systems software was expensive (when compared to free) but I am at the age now where I am tired of waiting years for the free software to support one of my older radios.  I purchased some Chinese cables but they didn't work with the free software.  I was done with free.

RT Systems software works well, and within 30 minutes, I exported my older rig's channel layout, sorted them and imported into the VX5R.  Took just minutes and four clicks.
