Better than Kenwood's OEM Configuration Software July 9, 2019
Reviewer: KM4KTR from VERO BEACH, FL United States
The user interface is simple while offering full functionality for configuring the Kenwood TH-D72A/E handheld.  I especially like the tabbed spreadsheet-style tables for setting up the frequency memory.  It is easy to query the RFinder site and sort and copy frequency lists from one table to the next.  Each table can be saved as a separate file for easy reference in the future.  The windows for selecting radio menu options are more extensive than Kenwood's OEM MCP-4 application, which hasn't been updated since March 29, 2013 (Version 1.04).  The RT Systems application is still maintained.  Since the TH-D72A/E is still in production, Kenwood should drop the MCP-4 application and license the RT Systems KRS-D72 application to include with the radio—the software is that great!

Ease of Use May 2, 2019
Reviewer: Michael Herron KB0PAK from Thornton, CO United States
The ability to transfer data from other radios into the data base was a snap and made for me to transfer memory channels to match other radios.

Completely locked my radio up April 30, 2019
Reviewer: Corey Reynolds from McKenney, VA United States
I have used RT Systems software before and liked it but this time it completely locked up my D72, forcing me to have to do a factory reset.  I was less than thrilled to have paid for this software and it not only to not work but to actually lock up the radio.
