The KG-UV6 software makes it easy for you to program memory channel and menu setting details of these Wouxum radios. Easy to use spreadsheet design completes memory channel options automatically. No need to calculate offsets... tones are selected from easy drop down lists so you don't enter an incorrect value... names are typed into a field without having to turn a knob for each letter! Other set menu items are laid out in an easy to access and understand page where you can see all the options related to a feature you're setting up. This package includes separate programmers for the KG-UV6D, the KG-UV6D V2, KG-UV6X, and KG-UV6DPro256 radios. Be sure to install the right one for your radio model. The RPS-KGUV6 works with the KG-UV6D, the KG-UV6D V2, and KG-UV6X. The RPS-KGUV6DPro256 works with the KG-UV6DPro256 radio.
These programmers were combined into a set about March of 2018 when the new Pro256 was released. Anyone who purchases the RPS-KGUV6 programmer after April 1, 2018 is entitled to a no-charge upgrade to include both programmers (if that is not what you received in your purchase). Contact us with dated proof of purchase for consideration of the upgrade. For purchases of the RPS-KGUV6 programmer before April 1, 2018, an upgrade is offered for $10.00 with dated proof of purchase for the original programmer for the KG-UV6 radio. Contact us with that dated proof of purchase. Replacements or upgrades are delivered electronically. Additional charges apply if a CD is requested.
