Normally I am a huge fan of RT software but this was supposed to work with my UV-8DR radio but while the cable is perfect and works with just about all of my 2 prong radios the software not so. I hoped it would.

I have a MML UV-8DR hand held transceiver and it looks to be the same as the JT-UV8DR and a few others that are a look alike the yaesu.  I also had the USB-K4Y programming cable.  I have 4 of these cables.  Anyway it did not work.  It looks like I'll have to stay with the chirp version.
