4 of 5 good software, good support, confusing options July 22, 2019
Reviewer: Larry DiGioia N8KU from Mansfield, OH United States
I bought the "programming software" for my IC-7300 a few months ago, and decided to use it on my IC-7410 as well. Not happening. After much head scratching, a look at the FAQ, and a call to support, I finally found that 1.) They create an "edition" for each model of each manufacturer, even though it is obviously the same package 2.) I must pay again for each "edition/radio" 3.) Only "older" radios actually require their USB cables. Even knowing that, this time I tried my entire collection of USB cables before I finally used a USB hub built-in to a monitor - and everything fell into place.
