Requires the Retevis J9127P cable for programming. Which is no longer available.
This is an inert cable with the correct connector for the radio. The electronics for programming are in the radio.
Installed software cannot be refunded. You are responsible to be sure you have the right cable for the radio.
RT Systems Product License Agreement

The J9127P Cable from TYT is required for programming the MD-2017. That cable has been discontinued by TYT.  If you have one and know it works, you are welcome to purchase the software.  RT Systems cannot support an unknown cable. Installed software cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Other built-in frequency lists for easy memory channel entries (check File|External data in the programmer before you spend time on internet searches for frequencies. You may find just what you need!)
  • One more feature of External Data for the DMR radios is an automatic Contacts and Repeater search for areas worldwide. Once found, these entries are added to your file with just a few button clicks.
  • Much more than just memory channel programming with settings for other radio menu items.
  • Software works with Windows 8 and 8.1 (full versions), Windows 10 for 32 and 64 bit platforms or Windows 11.
