I had purchased a set of two radios, then a batch of ten. The batch of 10 radios programmed fine, while the other two would receive information from the radios but when I tried to send the new frequencies, I would get an error message of "frequency range does not match RF7 FF4". This has even seemed to stump tech support. A good way to find out if your BF-388A is programmable with this software is to try the flashlight. If it just turns on and off, the radios won't program. if it turns on steady, flashes S.O.S. then off, your radio can be programmed.
