Name Display

Last Updated: 08/08/2013
According to the Icom manual and to Icom tech support, the only way the names are displayed on the radio is if the radio display is in List Mode.

To enter List Mode:
Press Menu down until you reach M-2
Press MEN
Press LST

The display of the radio will LIST the frequencies by channel number along with the names.

Now, something we discovered on this radio... while you are on the way to List Mode, you will see the names on the screen.

Press Menu down until you reach M-2
Press MEN

The name will appear in a section of the screen on the radio at the bottom of the display.
(This is probably more of the type of display most users are looking for).
