CI-V Baud Rate affects programming

Last Updated: 11/12/2017
The RT Systems programmer cannot talk to the ID-51 (in all its varieties) if the CI-V Baud Rate is set to 19200. We are working to change this in the program, but for now, please make sure the CI-V Baud Rate is set to 9600 bps. To do this on the radio

  • Press Menu briefly to enter the Set mode of the radio.
  • Turn to Function. Press button at center of 4-way switch to select.
  • Select CI-V Baud Rate. Press button at center of 4-way switch to select.
  • Set option to 9600 bps.
  • Press PTT to exit.
