ne7f's Gravatar HRO told me about this blog when I picked up my radio a couple weeks ago. I will order the cable and software as soon as it is available. Thanks for all your hard work. Mr. Murphy is always around when you work on product development!

Jeff's Gravatar Awesome. Looking forward to this being available. Many of our SAR team members have invested in the radio so it wil be nice to start building a program!

K0WIT's Gravatar I too am interested in the software/cable. I love this rig but I would like to be able to set some memory scans and priority channels in a more organized fashion. Thumbing them in works but is more time intensive.

Thomas's Gravatar Hope the cable / plug will connect the audio pins and ptt as well. I'd like to roll my own APRS using an Opentracker and my Garmin. APRS without map display sucks, after all. :-)

Proprietary plugs do so as well.

Have a look at what the folks with garmin untis did:

WB0BBC's Gravatar That's great news. Thanks RT Systems for keeping us informed
during your development and testing.
Is there any pricing information yet?

Thomas's Gravatar My Manual sais, the CT-M11 cable would be good for connecting an external TNC.

The manual differs from the standard american manual. CT-M 11 is originally for the FT-10, but i didn't check it out yet (got no hold if it yet)

Stil looking for the pinout and a hint if i could feed NMEA through the CT-M 11
